Grain and Berry Announces New Location at Harbor Point

Beatty Development Group and Armada Hoffler announced today that superfood café Grain and Berry will be opening its first Baltimore location at Harbor Point. Tentatively scheduled to open in early 2026, Grain and Berry will lease 1,675 square feet on the ground floor of the Allied | Harbor Point building.

Based in Florida, Grain and Berry aspires to be the ultimate destination for health-conscious individuals seeking a variety of superfood options. Guests can choose from a wide-ranging menu that caters to diverse tastes, offering acai bowls, fruit smoothies, and freshly squeezed juices, as well as savory options including specialty toasts, plant-based flatbreads, and quesadillas. With everything on the menu made-to-order and free of additives, Grain and Berry can accommodate individual dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, paleo, nut-free, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-friendly.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Better At Inc. to bring Grain and Berry to the Harbor Point community, the first of a number of locations we plan on opening in Maryland together,” said Olivia Bordelon, Brand Manager. “Our mission has always been to make healthy eating both delicious and accessible, and we can’t wait for guests here to experience our handcrafted bowls, smoothies, and flatbreads made fresh to order.”

More than just a café, the new Harbor Point location will serve as a retreat where friends can enjoy leisurely lunches, where professionals find a peaceful corner to work away from the office, or where anyone in need of a quick, wholesome meal can find exactly that. A cozy second-floor dining room overlooking the bustling Central Plaza will provide the perfect location for community and professional groups to host smaller events and meetings catered in a delicious and healthy manner.

“Dining options that prioritize high-quality ingredients remain a focus of our F&B leasing goals at Harbor Point, and the introduction of Grain and Berry represents that standard for health-conscious retail in the neighborhood,” said Max Beatty, Principal, Beatty Development Group. “This is a great menu, and we are excited for the community to add this concept to the list of options around the Central Plaza.”

Grain and Berry is the latest restaurant to join the quickly growing Harbor Point neighborhood, which recently celebrated the grand opening of Ice Cream Jubilee, the Chicken Lab, and La Jetée, a Provençal bistro from James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur Spike Gjerde (Woodberry Kitchen). Still scheduled to open before the end of 2025 is Sartori, a brand-new Italian concept from Ed Bosco (Verde), as well as chef David Zamudio’s (Alma Cocina Latina) Spanish-themed Josefina.

Henry DeFord and Tim Harrington of MacKenzie Retail represented the landlord, Armada Hoffler, in the transaction. Tom Fidler, Nick Maggio, and Patrick Smith of MacKenzie Retail represented the tenant.
