Attman’s Deli Coming Soon to Harbor Point

The landmark Baltimore deli will open its third location this fall, facing Harbor Point’s Central Plaza.

Attman’s Delicatessen will soon be expanding to Harbor Point, in a joint announcement made today by Beatty Development and Armada Hoffler. With a tentative opening scheduled for fall 2023, Attman’s Deli will lease 3,659 square feet at 1401 Point Street, on the street level of the 1405 Point residential building.

Established in 1915 on Baltimore’s “Corned Beef Row,” the award-winning Attman’s Deli has long established a reputation as one of Baltimore’s most beloved delis, famous for piled-high sandwiches, comfort foods, and made-from-scratch soups, salads, and baked goods. With plans to open every day, 365 days a year, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the new Harbor Point location will feature the same delicious food and friendly service that has defined Attman’s for over three generations.

“Harbor Point represented a rare opportunity to establish a presence in a neighborhood that is still developing and grow along with it,” said Marc Attman, Owner, Attman’s Deli. “The Attman family couldn’t be more thrilled to start the next chapter of our family business in this exciting new location.”

Harbor Point will be the third location for the authentic Jewish deli, which also maintains its original downtown location on Lombard Street and a second in Potomac, Maryland. While customers can expect the same convenient go-to staples and house-made condiments like mustard and pickles, the Harbor Point location will feature spacious waited table seating indoors and outdoors, plus a full-service bar program. The deli will also offer takeout and catering options.

“I’m pleased to be among the first to welcome Attman’s Deli to Harbor Point,” said Michael Beatty, President, Beatty Development Group. “The inclusion of such a well-known local favorite to Harbor Point is a great addition to our growing community, providing an authentic taste of Baltimore to the people that live, work, and visit here.”

At 1405 Point, Attman’s Deli will join Amanda Gallagher Orthodontics, [solidcore], and the recently opened Döner Brös. Opened in 2018, 1405 Point is a 17-story luxury residential building with 289 apartments, best-in-class amenities, and almost 18,000 square feet of street-level retail space. Located along Baltimore’s scenic waterfront between Harbor East and Fell’s Point, Harbor Point is a 27-acre mixed-use neighborhood with a planned three million square feet of office, retail, residential, and hotel uses, as well as 9.5 acres of open space.

Jeff Bach and Bryan Cyphers of JLL represented the landlord, Armada Hoffler, in the transaction.
