Harbor Point Re UK will initially focus on developing treaty underwriting opportunities for short-tail specialty reinsurance classes such as marine, energy, engineering, terrorism and war risks. In addition, we will consider property risk reinsurance programs and non-US casualty reinsurance programs.

Harbor Point Re UK will source business primarily through the London broker market. We will reinsure Lloyd’s and non-Lloyd’s business on a worldwide basis. 

Harbor Point Re UK’s maximum capacity is $50 million per program.
