Harbor Point Re Bermuda is a Bermuda-based global reinsurance company formed in late 2005. We write primarily property catastrophe reinsurance from our office in Hamilton, Bermuda. We employ more than 20 underwriters, actuaries, claims, accounting and corporate personnel with significant reinsurance experience.  We maintain a disciplined underwriting philosophy while actively seeking new opportunities.

Harbor Point Re Bermuda has shareholder’s equity of approximately $1.5 billion and is rated A “Excellent” by A.M. Best and A- “Strong” by Standard & Poor’s. Harbor Point Re Bermuda is licensed as a Class 4 insurer by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
